Olga Chwa is on a mission to make women shine. She approaches and encourages each woman’s unique vitality through bodywork, breathwork, mindfulness and lifestyle.
For over 20 years of study and practice, Olga has woven together many somatic trainings: traditional yoga, modern dance, therapeutic massage, ayurvedic healing, wellness coaching and native teachings. She now offers a range of private sessions and group events often centered around on women’s abdominal health, jaw health, and/or yogic cleanses.
Women around the world who have worked with Olga report having a better connection to their bodies and access to effective self-care tools. As a result, they feel uplifted and peaceful.
Passionate in the belief that when each of us feels healthy and whole, the world will be healthy and whole, Olga Chwa created Surya Wellness: get more energy, feel better, be free.
This massage is beyond relaxation. Manipulating the body's tissues increases circulation of blood and lymphatic fluids, natural electrical currents, opens congestion, reduces pain and jump-starts the body's own healing capacity.
Olga Chwa has been interested in this form of therapy since childhood and completed a 750+ hour massage education program at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies in 2009, followed by a second diploma in 2011. She is Nationally Certified (NCBTMB), plus (MBLEx), and is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
Surya Wellness applies simple yoga practices - from physical postures to breathing practices, systematic relaxations, meditations and cleansing methods that improve health and vitality.
Olga has taught thousands of classes and workshops around the world since she completed her first teacher training in 2001. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level with Yoga Alliance and continues to be humbled in her study of this system to evolve consciousness.
A sister-science to yoga, this ancient system of natural medicine creates health through massage and related bodywork, diet and food habits, therapeutic herbs and oils, along with lifestyle management.
In 2011, Olga Chwa completed a training in Ayurvedic concepts, nutrition, psychology and analysis as well as a therapist training course with a focus on massage and Marma Point Therapy, at the Shivani Clinic in Bhagsu Nag, HP, India.
